The complaint follows Egypt's dramatic 3-2 defeat against defending world champions Argentina in the Round of 16 at the Atlanta Stadium.
Argentina completed a stunning comeback to beat Egypt in the World Cup round of 16 and advance to the quarterfinals, scoring three goals after the 79th minute to win 3-2. Egypt took the advantage defending champions with a goal in the first half and then pushed their advantage to 2-0 with another score in the 67th minute – minutes after the Pharaohs had a goal controversially overturned.
